I am so excited!

When I was a small person of 9 or 10, my librarian turned me on to a series of books by Anne Emery--the Dinny Gordon Series. This series was only 4 books long, spanning Dinny's high school years. Thematically, I guess they were similar to Cherry Ames, maybe, or Nancy Drew sans the mystery element.

Anyway they have been out of print for years, and the copies that I could find were wicked expensive--like 40 or 50 bucks for paperbacks. Ouch! I added them to my half.com wishlist a few weeks back, not expecting anything to come of it...but the other day I got a email from them saying that a copy of "Dinny Gordon: Senior" had come into stock. And it was only $6!

Yesterday, it arrived, smelling all old and musty--it was fab! Now, if I can just find the first three...
