[General] Actually...

It turns out that is isn't a pinched nerve at all. What it is, apparently, is a ruptured disk.

The good news is that 90% of all ruptured disks respond to drugs and physical therapy. So, I am to take my pills, put heat on it and do some light exercise for 2 weeks and then be reevaluated. Hopefully, I won't need surgery.

In the meantime, I am not allowed to sit for more than 30 consecutive minutes, except at night, for, you know, sleeping. What this means for my trip to Allentown, PA this weekend is that we will have to stop the car every 30 minutes so that I can take a walk. :(
